I’m not sure exactly where I’m going with this, or if I’ll end up keeping up with it but I’ve been a homemaker since getting pregnant 2 years ago and have come to realize that I typically don’t have anything to look back on after the day ends. The dishes I washed that day are all dirty again, the laundry basket is no longer empty, the stove is messy from dinner, the floors I cleaned 3 times throughout the day are back to being messier than when the day started, the toys are scattered again, and while my family sleeps I spend hours feeling like my day made no visible progress as I once again clean everything for the 2nd, 3rd, and often 4th time since I had woken up, while missing out on the sleep I’ll be daydreaming of the next exhausting day. But with this, with a blog, I’ll be able to look back and see what I did, in black and white it’ll be right here so I can look back and see that progress was made somewhere, I did something that day, and I think that is something that is very overlooked and underappreciated during the average day by the average person.
